I neglect Inc Charitable status is currently pending with the IRS. Indications from the IRS are that the Charitable status should be restored shortly.

Kurt J Henry +

Kurt J Henry is Pres/Founder of I Neglect Inc.which was founded in 2002 and officially put into action in 2005 after 2.5 yrs of corresponding with IRS.Kurt has told many that the reason for creating I Neglect was a reflection of his father and mother.

Mentoring +

Mentoring is a structured and trusting relationship that brings young people together with caring individuals who offer guidance, support and encouragement aimed at developing the competence and character of the mentee. A mentor is an adult who, along with parents, provides a young person with support, counsel, friendship, reinforcement and constructive example.

Mission +

I Neglect is committed to the healthy development of the social and cultural needs of underprivileged children in Southeast Texas. While there are many foundations and charities benefiting children, there is still a major shortage of available resources, including gifts that money cannot buy. Having fun and rewarding social experiences with positive role models and with peers are vital to our children’s healthy passage into their adolescent and adult lives. Providing our kids with cultural insight, practical lessons in social tolerance and personal responsibility will prepare them to be the future leaders of our communities.

I-Neglect is the Official Guardian of Jamaica Beach, Galveston County. I-Neglect hosts and coordinates bi-annual beach cleanups.

Every day more than 2000 children and teenagers die from an injury which could have been prevented. This joint WHO / UNICEF report is a plea to keep kids safe by promoting evidence-based injury prevention interventions and sustained investment by all sectors. The report presents the current knowledge about the five most important causes of unintentional injury – road traffic injuries, drowning, burns, falls and poisoning.
